Willem Janszoon Blaeu was a Dutch cartographer and atlas maker. He made country maps and world globes, and in 1633 he was appointed map-maker of the Dutch East India Company. He had two sons, Johannes and Cornelis, who continued their father's mapmaking and publishing business after his death in 1638. This world map from 1665 is their creation, and it's many splendorous drawings and colors make it an ideal gift and conversation piece. 38" x 28". This paper map is perfect for framing.
